Shop and gamepasses

Sumaya has two separate "shops". This page covers both:

  1. The Main Menu Shop tab, where you spend Robux on gamepasses and cash packs.
  2. In-world shops, where you spend Ringgit on food, gas cans, and tools at stalls around town.

Both are open to every player.

The Main Menu Shop tab

Open the main menu (either from the join screen or via the Open Menu house icon in the top bar), then tap the Shop tab. You'll see a grid of cards: gamepasses on top and one-time cash purchases below.

Each card shows a title, a short description, and either a Purchase button or a Coming Soon label. Coming Soon cards preview content the team is still building out: the picture, name, and description are visible, but purchase is disabled until the item is ready.

What's purchasable right now

ItemTypeWhat you get
Retro VehiclesGamepassUnlocks the classic / retro car pack at the standard civilian dealer: Protan Saga 1985 (free), Merzda Miata (12,000 SR), Nisun S15 Silvia (20,000 SR), Joguar XJ308 R (29,000 SR). Non-owners can see the cards locked behind a gamepass prompt. See Vehicles.

Coming soon

These cards are visible in the shop now but the purchase button is disabled. They'll go live when the team finalises the gamepass / product IDs.

If the team adds final IDs while you're in-game, the Coming Soon label flips to Purchase automatically the next time the shop loads. You don't need to do anything; just check back.

How gamepasses persist

  • Gamepass ownership is tied to your Roblox account, so it follows you across every Sumaya server and every play session.
  • One-time cash purchases drop straight into your bank account with a paycheck-style notification. They're tracked per-receipt so a duplicate purchase notification cannot double-pay you.
  • Owning a vehicle gamepass unlocks the relevant vehicles at the normal dealer; you still pay the in-game Ringgit cost (most are not free).
  • If you owned a legacy vehicle pack (Premium, Supercar, EV, KEMRonda, Traffic POLIS, Unmarked POLIS, Classic / Retro) before the Coming Soon cards went live, that ownership still counts; you don't need to repurchase.

Refunds and disputes

In-game gamepass / cash purchases go through Roblox's normal Marketplace, so refunds and payment disputes are handled by Roblox support, not the Sumaya team.

In-world shops (Ringgit)

In-world shops let you spend Ringgit on consumables, tools, and roleplay items. They're scattered around the map and marked on the minimap.

Food stalls

Cheap food items, currently cosmetic / roleplay flavour. They don't actually restore hunger in the current build.

  • Mamak Stall: drinks like Kopi Tenom and Teh Tarik, plus simple meals.
  • Nasi Lemak Stall: a small menu of Malaysian classics (Nasi Lemak, Nasi Goreng, Roti Canai, Milo Ais).

Prices range from 1 to 5 SR per item.

Boat gas can shop

Sells refuel cans for fishing trawlers. Cars do not need refuelling.

CanRefillPrice
Red+25 fuel75 SR
Green+50 fuel100 SR
Black+75 fuel125 SR

Trawler fuel caps at 100 and refill only works when current fuel is below 75, so a top-up on an almost-full tank does nothing and won't consume the can.

Tools and consumables

Crime tools (Slim Jim, Pickpocket Knife) are handed out for free by the Abang Samseng NPCs rather than sold at shops. See Crime and Law.

Tips

  • Browse the shop tab on every visit. Coming Soon cards turn into Purchase cards quietly once the team finishes wiring them up; there's no in-game notification.
  • The Retro Vehicles pack is the only paid pack you can buy right now. Until the Premium EV / Sport / Luxury packs flip live, the standard civilian dealer is your only source of paid vehicles.
  • Cash packs are bank-to-bank. They land in your bank, so the 500 SR wallet cap doesn't matter. You can save up for a big purchase by stacking cash packs straight into bank.
  • In-world stall food is cosmetic for now. Don't expect Teh Tarik to restore stamina; the hunger / stamina HUD isn't wired up in the current build.
  • Gas cans only top up boats. Cars run without fuel limits.

What next?

  • Economy for how Ringgit, wallets, and banks work, plus all earning paths.
  • Vehicles for the full vehicle catalogue (including the Classic Car Pack).
  • Crime and Law for the Slim Jim and Pickpocket Knife flow.
  • Phone and UI for the Open Menu topbar icon you use to re-open the main menu mid-game.
