Combat and health
Combat in Bandaraya is meant to support roleplay, not replace it. Public-service teams should follow their rules of engagement, and civilians should understand that violence brings police response.
TL;DR
- Civilians need the Firearms Licence gamepass to buy legal firearms.
- Some teams receive duty weapons.
- Armour and helmets can reduce damage.
- Injuries can cause bleeding, pain, blur, and downed states.
- KKM and SJAM can treat injured players.
- Reset is disabled at or below 75 HP.
Weapons
How to get a weapon
| Source | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Ammulaysia | Firearms Licence gamepass. |
| Illegal Dealer / Hacker | Black-market access in game. |
| Team issue | Public-service, military, staff, or special teams where appropriate. |
| Armoury | Team-gated equipment areas. |
Civilians should not expect unrestricted rifles. Legal civilian firearms require the Firearms Licence gamepass.
Basic controls
- Left-click to fire.
- R to reload.
- B or a tool-specific key may holster some weapons.
- Accuracy depends on movement, stance, recoil, and weapon type.
Cover and vehicles
Not every visual object is good cover. Thick walls, armoured panels, and proper cover are safer than thin fences or glass.
Some service vehicles are armoured, including:
- POLIS AV4
- POLIS V150
- UTK Hilux variants
Regular civilian cars are not bulletproof.
Armour
| Item | What it helps with |
|---|---|
| Vest | Torso protection. |
| Helmet | Head protection. |
| Blast protection | Reduces some explosion damage. |
Armour wears down with hits. Replace it through the correct team equipment flow.
Injuries
Bandaraya tracks more than simple HP. You can suffer:
- Bleeding.
- Pain and blur.
- Low health effects.
- Downed or incapacitated states.
- Death if untreated or heavily damaged.
If you are badly hurt, stop moving and call for medical help.
Medical treatment
Medics may use:
| Item | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Bandage / tourniquet | Slow or stop bleeding. |
| Blood bag / IV items | Recover from blood loss. |
| Morphine / aspirin | Pain treatment. |
| Defib | Attempt revival when appropriate. |
| Advanced airway or surgical tools | Higher-level medical roleplay. |
KKM generally has the broadest medical role. SJAM supports ambulance and first-aid response.
Bleedout and reset
- If KKM or SJAM are on duty, downed players have a 5-minute bleedout window.
- If no medic team is on duty, the game avoids holding players down unnecessarily.
- Reset is disabled at or below 75 HP to stop reset-to-avoid-arrest behaviour.
Hardpoint raids
Hardpoint is an organised OCG capture-point mode used for group events. If you are not part of the event, you can watch from a distance, but do not interfere.
Tips
- Use cover, not just line of sight.
- Wear a helmet and vest if your role expects combat.
- Do not shoot first as a public-service team unless the scene justifies it.
- Wait for medics when KKM or SJAM are available.
- Gun shops have cooldowns; do not spam purchases.
