Getting started
Bandaraya is a Malaysian city roleplay experience on Roblox, set in Kuala Lumpur. You choose a role, spawn into the city, and play out everyday or emergency-service stories with other players.
The in-game currency is BR (Bandar Ringgit). Prices in this wiki use BR unless they are labelled R$ for Robux.
What you can do
- Pick a role. Be a civilian, police officer, firefighter, medic, soldier, bus driver, taxi driver, postal worker, tow operator, or another specialist role.
- Work for money. Deliver mail, drive taxis, operate buses, tow vehicles, or buy BR if you want a quicker start.
- Drive. Use civilian cars, motorcycles, buses, emergency vehicles, military vehicles, and helicopters if your team has access.
- Travel around KL. Ride buses, fast-travel by MRT or Monorail, or drive through TapNGo toll gates.
- Use CAG. The Click and Go card handles buses, MRT/Monorail discounts, toll discounts, and monthly passes.
- Respond to emergencies. Police, fire, medical, and military teams all have distinct roles.
- Roleplay law and consequences. POLIS can detain, cuff, arrest, and issue summons. Suspects serve a short jail timer and return to play.
- Shop and customise. Buy food, clothes, tools, cars, and certain licenced items.
The setting
Bandaraya covers a game version of Kuala Lumpur. You will see real-KL-inspired places such as the PETRONAS area, Ampang Park, Bukit Bintang, IPD Dang Wangi, major hotels, bank towers, bus hubs, and MRT/Monorail stations.
Many teams are based on Malaysian institutions, including POLIS, BOMBA, KKM, SJAM, RELA, MAF, and KPTD. If an acronym is unfamiliar, check the Glossary.

1. Team selection
When you join, the team menu opens.
- Visitors is open to everyone.
- Malaysians requires the MYSverse group.
Police, fire, military, taxi, HCC, and other specialist teams require group access, rank, whitelist, or gamepass. See Teams.
2. First spawn
After choosing a team, you spawn at a team-appropriate location. You may have:
- Team tools, if your team receives any.
- A BR wallet.
- ID or licence cards based on your group memberships.
- A minimap and full map.
- Topbar icons for phone, map, and other available tools.
3. Basic controls

4. Try something
Drive
- Find a spawner or the Classic Car Dealer.
- Open the spawner panel.
- Pick a vehicle.
- Sit in the driver seat and drive.
- Refuel at Radtrol or charge at Community Retail if needed.

Use public transport
- Walk to an MRT or Monorail station.
- Pick a destination on the same line.
- Pay with BR or CAG.
- For buses, sit in a passenger seat and the fare is handled automatically.

Earn BR
- POS is the easiest starter job.
- Taxi is good if you own the pass or have team access.
- Tow and bus jobs require group access.

5. Dying, resetting, and rejoining
- Reset works unless your health is at or below 75 HP.
- If KKM or SJAM are on duty, downed players get a 5-minute bleedout window.
- Leaving while detained or being arrested can auto-jail you when you return.

Tips
- If a team tool does not appear, respawn after switching teams.
- If a team is missing, you may not meet the access requirement or nobody is currently on it.
- Keep some BR for fuel, tolls, fines, and emergencies.
- Use CAG if you plan to ride buses or fast travel often.
