Rules
Bandaraya is a roleplay game. Stay in character, respect scenes, and do not use glitches or exploits to win.
TL;DR
- Do not exploit, hack, or abuse glitches.
- Do not go rogue on public-service teams.
- Do not LTAA or RTAA.
- Do not harass players or staff.
- Follow Roblox Terms of Service.
- Respect roleplay scenes.
General violations
These can lead to a server ban.
1. Chat spam
Repeated, meaningless, or disruptive messages.
2. LTAA - leave to avoid arrest
Leaving while detained, cuffed, or being arrested. The game can apply the arrest timer when you return, and staff may still treat it as a rule violation.
3. RTAA - reset to avoid arrest
Resetting to escape arrest or consequences. Reset is disabled at low health to prevent this, but attempts still count.
4. Glitch abuse
Examples:
- Glitching through walls.
- Escaping restricted areas.
- Breaking or abusing vehicle physics.
- Abusing tools while detained, injured, cuffed, or arrested.
5. Trolling or harassment
Do not follow, target, harass, or intentionally ruin another player's roleplay.
6. Spawn-killing
Do not kill civilians as they spawn.
7. Job-team abuse
Do not use postal, taxi, tow, bus, or other job teams to commit crime or disrupt the server.
8. Scene disruption
Do not interrupt an arrest, medical scene, admin scene, or organised roleplay unless your character has a valid role in it.
9. Staff harassment
Do not harass moderators or administrators.
Severe violations
These can lead to long or permanent bans.
Exploits
Aimbots, speed hacks, damage cheats, tool abuse, and other exploit attempts are not tolerated.
Repeated rule-breaking
Repeated small violations can become a severe moderation issue.
Going rogue on public service
If you are on POLIS, BOMBA, KKM, SJAM, MAF, KPTD, RELA, or another public-service team, do not commit crime or abuse your tools.
Ban evasion
Do not use alternate accounts or someone else's account to avoid a ban.
Personal information
Do not share anyone's private information.
Roblox terms of service
No racism, NSFW content, online dating, inappropriate symbols, or other content Roblox would not allow.
Roleplay etiquette
These are not always ban rules, but they make the game better:
- Stay in character during scenes.
- Use radio and team tools responsibly.
- Drive like traffic matters.
- Do not metagame with information your character would not know.
- Keep out-of-character arguments away from in-character scenes.
Penal code roleplay
POLIS and judicial roleplay may refer to Malaysian Penal Code sections for flavour. Staff moderation still follows Bandaraya and Roblox rules.
Appeals
If you believe a ban or punishment was wrong:
- Join the MYSverse community server.
- Contact a moderator or administrator.
- Follow the appeal process calmly.
Moderators have the final call.
Tips
- Keep screenshots or clips if you need to explain a scene.
- If you get kicked by anti-cheat and believe it was false, share the kick message with staff.
- You need at least 60 days of Roblox account age to join Bandaraya.
