POLIS - police
POLIS is the main law-enforcement team.
What you do
- Patrol the city in marked or unmarked police vehicles.
- Respond to 999 calls and BOLO alerts.
- Detain, cuff, search, and arrest suspects.
- Issue Saman summons for traffic or minor offences.
- Use the MDT tablet app for background checks and BOLOs.
- Staff IPD Dang Wangi and coordinate with other responders.
Common tools
POLIS may receive a taser, baton, cuffs, search tool, Saman tool, radar gun, flashlight, fingerprint scanner, clamp, traffic wand, whistle, police tape, and placeables.
Expectations
- Identify yourself and give suspects a chance to comply.
- Use force proportionally.
- Do not commit crime while on duty.
- Use the MDT and radio for coordination.
See Arrest & Law for the arrest flow.
Polis Bantuan
Polis Bantuan MyTransit supports policing around transit areas. They can assist with detainment and arrests, but roleplay should normally stay around bus, MRT, and Monorail operations.
BOMBA - fire and rescue
BOMBA handles fire and rescue incidents.
What you do
- Respond to fire call-outs.
- Use hydrants and hoses to extinguish fires.
- Cordon scenes with barriers or tape.
- Carry injured players out of unsafe areas.
- Support traffic control around major incidents.
Fire incidents
Fire incidents can appear when BOMBA is on duty. BOMBA players receive alerts with a map pin, sound, and tablet notification. Incidents have a time limit and are cleaned up if nobody is left on BOMBA duty.
KKM Health Ministry
KKM is the main medical team.
What you do
- Treat injured and downed players.
- Use medical tools such as bandages, morphine, blood bags, and defibrillators.
- Staff clinics and hospitals.
- Coordinate with POLIS, BOMBA, and SJAM during scenes.
When KKM or SJAM are on duty, downed players get a 5-minute bleedout window and passive health regeneration is paused so medics have a real role.
SJAM
SJAM is volunteer ambulance support. It works alongside KKM, especially at events or busy emergency scenes.
RELA
RELA supports public-order scenes with basic tools such as baton, search, and flashlight. RELA should assist POLIS rather than replace POLIS.
MAF
The MYSverse Armed Forces operate from Kem Wardieburn. MAF roleplay focuses on military duties, parades, base operations, and special events. Regular MAF members should not act like city police.
KPTD - Military Police
KPTD is the military police branch. They can arrest and handle military-police matters, especially around MAF personnel and military scenes.
Standard Saman summons are handled by POLIS and Polis Bantuan. KPTD should focus on military-police matters.
Combined operations
Large incidents often involve multiple teams:
- POLIS secures the scene.
- BOMBA handles fire or rescue hazards.
- KKM/SJAM treats patients.
- RELA assists with crowd and traffic control.
- KPTD/MAF handle military scenes.
Tips
- Play to your team. Police should not firefight unless needed; medics should not chase suspects; BOMBA should not arrest.
- Public-service crime is a severe rule violation.
- Keep descriptions short and factual when using law or medical tools.
- Use your tablet if your team has one.
