Gig jobs
Gig jobs are short civilian assignments you can run between longer careers. They are built around quick visual steps instead of full shifts: read the prompt, complete the small interaction, follow the waypoint, and cash out.
They are good when you want variety, a quick Ringgit burst, or a job that sends you around town.
Gig types
| Gig | What you do | Base reward |
|---|---|---|
| E-Hailing | Pick up and drop off a passenger | 40 SR, 8 XP, possible 30% tip |
| Pos Nasional | Deliver parcels | 35 SR and 7 XP per parcel, possible 10% tip |
| Tow Truck | Recover or move a vehicle | 80 SR, 12 XP, possible 20% tip |
| Reporter | Reach a scene and capture the story beat | 50 SR, 10 XP, possible 15% tip |
| Tour Guide | Lead a route through points of interest | 120 SR, 20 XP, possible 40% tip |
| Restaurant Supplier | Deliver supplies to a restaurant | 45 SR, 8 XP, possible 10% tip |
Tips are not guaranteed, so treat them as a bonus for clean runs.
How they play
When a gig starts, your HUD points you to the current objective. Some gigs open a compact minigame panel for the next step:
- Manifest / paperwork - a paper-style panel fades in with a soft paper sound, then shows the item or route you need.
- Choice steps - pick the correct action from a small set of buttons.
- Sequence steps - repeat the displayed order.
- Timing steps - stop the moving marker in the target zone.
The panels work on phone, tablet, and desktop screens. On mobile, buttons and text scale up so you can tap reliably.
Camera focus
Some steps briefly move the camera towards the item, passenger, route marker, or scene you should notice. This is automatic and returns control after the step, so you do not need to change settings.
If another stronger camera mode is active, such as the main menu or Cinematic app, the gig still works; it just may skip the focus move.
Stopping and resets
Gig jobs clean themselves up if the run is interrupted. If you die, leave the server, switch teams, start another incompatible job, or the objective disappears, the active panel and camera focus are removed.
You can only focus on one job at a time. If a gig does not seem to continue after an interruption, start a fresh one from the gig/career prompt or interface.
Tips
- Watch the task card and minimap first; the minigame panel usually confirms the same objective.
- For timing steps, wait for the marker to settle into the middle of the highlighted zone instead of tapping early.
- Pos Nasional pays per parcel, so multi-parcel runs can be better than they look.
- Tour Guide has the best base payout, but it may take longer because it sends you through several locations.
